Our Stave Core Construction uses a laminated, stable, soft wood core sandwiched between thick 3/16" solid veneers that prevent warp or distortion. Unlike many products available, all stiles and rails are made with this superior stave core construction, not solid stock.

Our Double Panel Technology virtually eliminates cracking panels by allowing independent movement of wood surfaces exposed to different humidity and temperature conditions. The implementation of our double panel design has enhanced the appearance and performance of all our doors, especially doors used in exterior applications.

Tight fitting Mortise and Tenon joinery is far superior to doweled joints. By providing more surface area for glue adhesion, the assembled strength of the joint is vastly increased. Stronger joints mean the door does not sag out of square. A door that remains straight or true through the years assures that the hardware will operate properly and securely, and the weather-stripping will continue to provide an efficient seal against the elements.
